Project Development Engineer (San Diego, California)

We are seeking an outstanding Project Development Engineer. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic team player who is both results, and detail orientated. Good organizational and analytical skills coupled with the ability to follow through and get results are a must.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new ambient and process gas analyzers
• Undertake and document evaluations of products, materials, and processes

Qualifications:

• Bachhelor's Degree in Chemistry, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other technical discipline
• 5-10 years experence developing sensors or instruments that measure physical or chemical parameters preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Proven leadership of cross-department or cross-disciplinary teams in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with application of physical and optical sensors in the measurement of gasses or liquids.
• Demonstrated ability to interact well with customers and to understand market forces
• Recent practice in chemistry or chemical processes a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with multiple software packages
