Machine Operators (San Marcos, California)

PRODUCTION MACHINE OPERATORS (DAY & NIGHT SHIFT)

 

Key Requirements:

·        Good work history

·        High School diploma or equivalent preferred

·        Minimum 1 year experience working with general machine operations or working in a manufacturing environment or applicable industry.

·        Ability to use basic hand tools properly (scissors, pliers, micrometers, etc.)

·        Basic mathematics skills

·        Effective verbal and written communication skills

·        Forklift experience helpful.(Note: Our Temporary Agency employees do not drive forklifts until they become regular status employees)

·        Ability to climb (OSHA approved) ladders and frequently lift up to 55 lbs.

·        Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and/or walk throughout most of the work period.

·        Extrusion and plastic processing experience a plus.

·        Ability to work a 12 hour per shift flexible schedule which includes every other weekend.

 

Responsibilities:

 

·        Operate extrusion and injection molding machinery and other related equipment to produce plastic products to specifications.

·        Supply raw materials to production machinery.

·        Start-up, shut-down and adjust machinery to designated parameters and procedures.

·        Perform quality control inspections and tests on product.

·        Visually inspect product for possible defects.

·        Package products.

·        Complete all paperwork as required.

 

Shift Schedule       

 

We are a Team Oriented 24-7 plastics extrusion facility.  Employees must be able to work flexible workdays, consisting of a regular 12-hour work shift, including rotating weekends.           

 

Night Shift                                                                            Day Shift

7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.                                                           7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.

 

Night Shift Pay: $11.25/hr + $1.00/hr shift diff                   Day Shift Pay:  $11.25/hr
