Day and night shifts 3-4-4-3.
Duties: Include setting up machine for coating and/or casting membranes correct oven temperatures, specified in procedures. Obtains chemical solutions from mixer and transfer chemicals into coater, Operates machine to manufacture membrane to required parameters of flux and rejection. Makes adjustments of chemicals, temperatures, maintain membrane parameters only after consulting supervisor. Maintains constant vigilance for membrane defects. Take samples of membrane and chemicals. Keeps complete and accurate records and logs of readings. Changes Polls off fabric as necessary. Transfers coated membrane to rolling area. Drains, cleans, and refills chemical troughs as necessary. Obtains assistance from supervisor promptly whenever difficulties or discrepancies occur outside the limits specific in procedures.
Compensation:
10.50 per hour and a 10% differential for night shifts.
